How to make pickles step by step?

Choose fresh, firm and unripe mangoes for making pickle.

1. Choose the right mangoes:

Wash the mangoes thoroughly and then dry them completely before starting the preparation.

2. Wash and dry:

Cut the mangoes into small cubes or pieces, as per your preference.

3. Cut the mangoes:

Add the required amount of spices such as red chilli powder, turmeric powder, fenugreek powder, mustard seeds, asafoetida, and salt to the mango pieces

Mix the spices with the mango pieces well, so that the spices coat the mango pieces evenly.

5. Mix well:

Heat oil in a pan and let it cool. Once it is cooled, pour the oil over the mango pieces and mix well.

6. Add oil:

Put the pickle in a clean and dry airtight container and leave it to marinate for a few days. Keep the container in a cool and dry place.

7. Store in a container:

After a few days, your mango pickle is ready to be served. Enjoy it with your favorite meal or as a snack.
