Mumbai-Goa Highway Development Projects worth Rs 15,000 crore announced by Nitin Gadkari

Mumbai-Goa National Highway 66 is a major tourist route in Konkan connecting several tourist destinations.

The highway development projects will drive tourism and industrial growth in the region.

Improved road safety systems will be put in place to reduce accidents.

The development program will make agriculture, fruit production, and transportation more accessible, leading to increased business opportunities.

The announced projects include a Rs 1,200 crore project at Kalamboli Junction, a Rs 1,200 crore project on Pagode Junction Chowk to Greenfield Highway, and a Rs 13,000 crore road link between Morbe and Karanjade via JNP.

The projects will contribute to the all-inclusive progress of the country, not only of the district but also of the state.

The government is committed to the development of Raigad district and the entire Maharashtra state under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
