Pema Khandu Distributes Compensatory Cheques for Land Acquisition

 

Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, distributes compensatory cheques amounting to Rs 137.77 crore to beneficiaries whose lands were acquired by the Indian Army for establishing the Gamrala field firing range.

Each beneficiary from Sero village in the Tawang constituency receives a cheque worth Rs 46.39 lakh during the distribution program.

The event witnesses the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Honorable Tawang MLA Shri Tsering Tashi, DoKAA Chairperson Shri Jambey Wangdi Ji, District Commissioner Shri Kangki Darang, and Superintendent of Police Shri DW Thungon.

Pema Khandu's initiative highlights the government's commitment to compensating and supporting individuals affected by land acquisitions for strategic purposes, ensuring equitable distribution of resources and benefits.
