PM Modi held a bilateral meeting with the PM of Australia, Anthony Albanese at Admiralty House in Sydney.

On arrival at Admiralty House, the Prime Minister was accorded a ceremonial welcome and a guard of honor.

The leaders recalled the successful 1st Annual Leaders' Summit held in New Delhi, reaffirming their commitment to expanding and strengthening the multifaceted India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The discussions focused on cooperation in defense and security, trade and investment, new and renewable energy, green hydrogen, and people-to-people ties.

The leaders welcomed the finalization of the terms of reference of the India-Australia Hydrogen Task Force, aiming to expedite the production and implementation of clean hydrogen technologies, including hydrogen electrolyzers, fuel cells, and regulatory frameworks.

PM Modi thanked Australia for its support in setting up the Consulate General of India in Brisbane.
