This move underscores the government's  dedication to bridging the developmental gap between the Northeast and  other parts of the country.

Approximately Rs. 5.5 lakh households have benefitted from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) scheme in Assam under PM Modi's leadership. This initiative highlights the government's efforts to  address housing needs and uplift rural communities in the state.
