President Murmu Calls for Conservation, Harmony, and Indigenous Wisdom at 'Silent Conversation' Art Exhibition

President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated the art exhibition "Silent Conversation: From Margins to the Centre" in New Delhi, celebrating 50 years of Project Tiger.

The exhibition, organized by the National Tiger Conservation Authority in collaboration with the Sankala Foundation, highlights the relationship between communities around Tiger Reserves and the forests and wildlife through artifacts.

President Murmu highlighted the impact of unchecked materialism, commercialism, and opportunism on the environment, leading to concerns about food and water security due to climate change.

She emphasized the importance of integrating traditional and modern thinking to strengthen conservation, adaptation, and mitigation strategies.
