President Murmu Honors Indian Air Force at Hindon Ceremony

 

President Droupadi Murmu presented President’s Standard to 45 Squadron and 221 Squadron, and President’s Colours to 11 Base Repair Depot and 509 Signal Unit at Air Force Station Hindon.

The President praised the Indian Air Force's historic contributions in safeguarding the nation, highlighting their bravery and selflessness in conflicts dating back to 1948, as well as their humanitarian efforts during domestic and international disasters.

She commended the Air Force's significant role not only in national defense but also in India's space program, noting with pride that four astronauts selected for ISRO's Gaganyaan mission are Air Force officers.

President Murmu emphasized the importance of adopting modern technology in defense, lauding the Indian Air Force's strides in incorporating advanced technology to meet evolving security challenges in today's rapidly changing world.
