On April 6th, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das announced the monetary policy.

The policy rate remains unchanged at 6.5%.

The projected inflation rate for 2023 is 6.4%.

The projected GDP growth rate is 7%, with the real GDP growth expected to reach 7% for 2022-23.

The PMI in March was reported to be 6.4%, and milk inflation remains unchanged.

The SDF rate remains unchanged at 6.25%, while the MSF and bank rate are at 6.75%.

Headline inflation is moderating, and the US dollar is gaining on its peak in September 2022.
