Trisha Krishnan is an Indian actress, who works in languages, predominantly in Tamil and Telugu.

Trisha Krishnan was born on May 4th, 1983, in Chennai, India. She completed her schooling at Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park, Chennai.
Trisha went on to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course at Ethiraj College for Women in Chennai.
She made her acting debut in the 1999 Tamil film "Jodi" and went on to act in several successful films in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
Trisha has won several awards for her performances, including the Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Telgu for her role in "Varsham" (2004).
She rose to fame starring in commercially successful films such as Saamy (2003), Ghilli (2004), and Aaru (2005) in Tamil cinema, and Varsham (2004), Athadu (2005) in Telugu cinema.
In 2010 Trisha also starred in the Hindi film 'Khatta Meetha' opposite Akashy Kumar.
She had critical performances in the comedy-drama Abhiyum Naanam (2008), the political thriller Kodi (2016), the romantic drama '96 (2018), and the historical dramas Ponniyin Selvan: I (2022) and Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023).
An ardent animal lover, Trisha has been the Goodwill Ambassador of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
