The Veeranjaneya Temple is located on Ardhagiri hill and is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is located in Aragonda of the Chittoor district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Ardhagiri Hill literally translates to "half mountain."

It was a part of the Sanjeevani Mountain that was transported by Lord Hanuman in the Treta Yuga. hence The name Ardhagiri and the temple was dedicated to Lord Hanuman.
