Being a mom is hard. I think it’s because we put so much pressure on ourselves to be perfect. We want to be the perfect mother, the perfect wife, the perfect friend. And when we’re not, we feel like we’re failing.
It’s hard to be a mom because we have to do everything. We have to be the ones who cook and clean and help with homework and drive the kids to soccer practice. We have to be the ones who remember birthdays and anniversaries. We have to be the ones who always know what to do.
But being a mom is also one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. Seeing your child take their first steps, hearing their first words, or watching them grow and learn every day is an incredible feeling.
So why is being a mom so hard for me?
Well, I think it has to do with the fact that I’m constantly juggling a million different things. I’m trying to be the best mom I can be, while also working, keeping the house clean, and trying to find time for myself. It’s a lot to manage, and sometimes I feel like I’m not doing any of it well.
And sometimes, we just don’t know what to do. We feel like we’re failing because we’re not perfect. But the truth is, there is no such thing as a perfect mother. We’re all just doing the perfect we can.
