World Environment Day, celebrated annually on June 5th, is a global event encouraging awareness and action for environmental protection. Since its inception in 1973, it has addressed key issues like marine pollution, overpopulation, global warming, and wildlife crime. Supported by various organizations, businesses, and governments, World Environment Day has become a significant platform for public outreach, with participation from over 143 countries. Each year, it provides a theme to rally global efforts for sustainable development and environmental advocacy.
