Panaji, Goa – On the occasion of World Ocean Day, Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant highlighted the crucial role oceans play in sustaining life on Earth. In his message, he underscored the importance of protecting marine ecosystems, reducing pollution, and supporting sustainable practices.
“Oceans are the lifeblood of our planet, providing sustenance, regulating climate, and supporting diverse wildlife,” said Dr. Sawant. He called for collective efforts to safeguard these vital resources, urging citizens to take meaningful steps towards marine conservation.
As Goa boasts a rich marine biodiversity, the Chief Minister’s message resonates strongly, reminding everyone of their responsibility to ensure the health and sustainability of ocean ecosystems for future generations.
