The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh is taking strategic steps to foster economic growth, with a particular emphasis on the integrated development of Bundelkhand. A detailed action plan, aligned with CM Yogi’s vision, has been formulated to introduce new dimensions of development across all sectors in Bundelkhand. As a crucial milestone in this plan, administrative and financial approval has been granted for 46 projects in Banda, with a total cost of Rs 29 crore.
This approval includes the allocation of funds through the Bundelkhand Development Fund (State Share Grant), further underscoring the commitment to regional development. The allocated funds will play a pivotal role in expediting the construction and improvement of various contact roads in the area. Notably, the repair of contact roads connecting to the district headquarters will significantly enhance village connectivity.
CM Yogi’s vision for Uttar Pradesh emphasizes large-scale projects aimed at promoting industrial, civil, and transport progress in the Bundelkhand region. The government is actively working to implement numerous projects, with a specific focus on neglected rural areas that lack connectivity to tehsil, block, and district headquarters.
“The current allocation of funds will be instrumental in accelerating the construction and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including link roads. A total of 46 work schemes will receive impetus, encompassing projects such as Binwat-Parsauli, Budhauli to Pali Gram, Atarra Road to Vanshipurwa (Korram), Bhabua to Bamhraula, Kayal to Rayan, Mahua to Semaria, Govindpur to Ragaul, Muradpur to Kyotra, and Banda-Prayagraj route to Bansakha, among others”.
This initiative signifies a major stride towards comprehensive development, addressing longstanding infrastructure gaps and fostering connectivity in Bundelkhand. The Yogi government’s commitment to uplifting rural areas and facilitating improved connectivity aligns with its broader vision for the overall progress of Uttar Pradesh.
